Marianna Costa

Approach

First, understand what is actually happening.

We do not arrive with a fixed framework waiting to be applied.

We listen. We ask questions.

We look at how the business is operating today, where it wants to go and what is sitting between the two.

Then we form a view.

01

Clarity before activity.

More activity is not always progress.

Before adding another project, hire, platform or partner, we establish what the business actually needs.

02

Tell us the truth.

The quality of our advice depends on the quality of the information we are working with.

We work best with founders who value transparency and are prepared to have direct conversations about what is and is not working.

The same standard applies to us. If we disagree, we will say so. If something sits outside our expertise, we will say that too.

That requires honesty on both sides.

03

Build around the work.

There is no standard Marianna Costa project team. Our involvement is shaped around the work rather than a fixed consulting model.

Some clients need a clear outside view. Others need us to remain involved through restructuring, implementation or delivery. Sometimes we build a temporary team around a project. Sometimes we manage existing partners. Sometimes the most useful thing we can do is introduce the right person and step aside.
The client has one lead relationship. Behind it, we coordinate what is necessary.
04

Stay for the useful part.

A recommendation is not the same thing as a result.

Where the engagement requires it, we remain involved through implementation and delivery.

We care about whether the work actually works.

05

Leave the business stronger.

The objective is clarity, progress and a business better equipped for what comes next.

That is the point.

An open notebook with blank pages and a pen, on stone in dappled daylight.
The format changes. The standard does not.

Clarity. Discretion. Execution.
