What this site stores, and what it doesn’t.

Visiting, reading and using this website — including sending an enquiry — sets no cookies at all.

Cookies are set in one situation only: when someone signs in to administer the site. Those are WordPress’s own session cookies, they are necessary for signing in to work, and they are never set for an ordinary visitor.

The website stores nothing in local storage, session storage or a browser database.

There is no front-end JavaScript on any page, so there is nothing capable of writing to them.

None of the following appears anywhere on this website:

• analytics of any kind — no Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom or Matomo;
• advertising or marketing trackers — no Meta Pixel, Google Ads tag or LinkedIn Insight;
• tag managers;
• session recording or heat maps;
• embedded video, maps, calendars or social content;
• chat or support widgets;
• a content delivery network;
• fonts loaded from another company’s servers.

The typefaces are served from this website’s own server, so viewing a page does not tell a font company that you were here.

The form sends what you type to this website and nowhere else. It is not a third-party form service, and no external spam service sees your message.

Two things happen that are worth describing precisely. Your enquiry is saved in the website’s own database before the notification email is sent, so that a mail failure cannot lose it. And to prevent automated abuse, the website briefly notes that a submission has come from a particular visitor, using a one-way scrambled form of the network address rather than the address itself. That record is not a cookie, is held for one hour and is then discarded.

How the enquiry itself is handled afterwards is described in the Privacy notice.

Like any website, this one runs on a server that keeps standard access logs. Those logs are kept by our hosting provider for security and technical operation and are not used to build a picture of individual visitors.

Consent is required for cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary — analytics, advertising, profiling and the like.

This website uses none of them, so there is nothing to ask permission for. A banner would be asking you to accept things that are not happening.

If that ever changes, this page will change with it, and anything requiring consent will ask for it before it runs rather than after.
